I keep thinking of more and more choices for the monthly theme – #AprilDuets. And a warning, this may start a string of duet postings featuring Thom Yorke. This one’s got two of my favorite singers, especially around the time that this soundtrack came out.
Fine, so it was a bit of a Disney/etc.-esque bait and switch soundtrack (I don’t care about Linda Ronstadt, just give me the damn version of Somewhere Out There with Fievel!), and I I probably would have been perfectly happy to get the version from the movie of Björk and Peter Stormare. But man, Thom Yorke. <voice crush>
Neither Thom Yorke nor Bjork do anything for me, so this predictably falls flat. I realize I’m in the minority in our generation, but I’m okay with that. They just always sound marble-mouthed to me.
