I had a different song in mind for our first #KaraokeTuesday, but then the background writing in Lance’s choice triggered this one for me (coincidentally released the same year as his Love and Rockets choice).

Many a times have Lance and I finished “Need You Tonight” (which will undoubtedly appear here at some point) and lamented the fact that we couldn’t go right into “Mediate”. Let’s be honest, sometimes we’ve started to go into it regardless, and someday when there’s no one in the queue after us, one of us is going to beatbox the drums while the other one goes for it.

I love this video, I love how the “Need You Tonight” eases right into this song (it really is jarring to not hear them together at all times), and goddamn if Michael Hutchence’s voice isn’t as sexy as ever.
