This isn’t exactly a karaoke upper. For people who don’t know it, it’s a bit of a downer in sped, but if you do know what the song is about, it’s downright depressing. Which of course hasn’t stopped me from doing it a time or two.

I never got into Ben Folds, but have picked up a couple of his albums along the way. I heard this song on the radio a couple years ago and remembered I kind of liked it, and that I had especially enjoyed the video when it came out because it had the girl from Jurassic Park. So into the occasional karaoke queue it went. I’ll usually only think of doing it when it’s a small crowd, and Lance will do backup, and humor me on the song choice. And then tell me how depressing it was.

About Chris

Chris is a digital producer based in Toronto, but don't worry, he's American. He enjoys karaoke and video games that are old enough to cost under $20. He used to be a master of the pit and live shows but can hardly keep up with anything new nowadays, so he usually goes to his happy place of media from his wayward youth. Chris is still trying to figure out what to be when he grows up.
