Not a ton to say on this song. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but just a nice, mellow version of a classic song. I’ve said before I have a weakness for cookie cutter emo and punk bands doing covers, but also included in that list are acoustic covers in most genres. I’m not very good at it, but I occasionally check the rss feed for http://coverlaydown.com/, and I’m pretty sure that’s how I came across this song one day.

I’m going to refrain from posting the original, because I’d rather reserve it for a #KaraokeTuesday post (because obviously I’ve sang it occasionally). I couldn’t tell you a thing about this artist (other than, now that I’ve seen him, I’m not a fan of the beard), but when searching for a video for this song, I did find another of his covers –  of Journey’s Faithfully, which is kind of great as well (I’ll save that for a later day).

About Chris

Chris is a digital producer based in Toronto, but don't worry, he's American. He enjoys karaoke and video games that are old enough to cost under $20. He used to be a master of the pit and live shows but can hardly keep up with anything new nowadays, so he usually goes to his happy place of media from his wayward youth. Chris is still trying to figure out what to be when he grows up.
